Explore the possibilities as you learn how to foundation piece. Each month you will make a new star to add to your own quilt sparkle and your piecing shine.

This class consists of twelve sessions on the first Wednesday of each month (except July 4th!). We'll use the Creative Grids 'Cat's Cradle' tool to make the 12 unique blocks in this fun quilt. This toll makes it so easy to complete each block! And the pattern gives you three different setting options for finishing the quilt in four sizes to fit your needs.

Leonie West's newest creation makes up to a 78x87 quilt. With these new rulers we will make 13 different blocks (4 of each), and then piece the quilted blocks together using the SashLee method.

In Bob's travels around the country, he is always on the lookout for things that inspire his quilting. Here is one of those inspirations. He found a 1930s quilt in an antique shop across the street from the Pony Express Museum in St Joseph, Missouri. Needless to say, he couldn't pass up such a great design. Once he arrived home, he quickly went to work updating the design and simplifying the piecing. Foundation piecing and speed piecing, no templates and no inset seams make this project a snap to construct. Pick your favorite floral fabric and join us in the maze.

Here's a fascinating variation of an Irish Chain that will brighten your decor. Use a stunning floral for the background and accent it with the fabrics for the chains, or simplify your quilt by leaving the center square areas open for some fancy quilting.
