This four week class will cover all the basic skills needed to start on your way to sewing success! Or, if it has been a while since you last sewed, this is a great re-fresher class. Make a pillow case - learn to hide a seam and use the french seam for the sides and bottom. Using a yard of fabric make four different projects each one teaching you specific techniques

Leonie West's newest creation makes up to a 78x87 quilt. With these new rulers we will make 13 different blocks (4 of each), and then piece the quilted blocks together using the SashLee method.

Zig Zag Quilt

Create this zig zag quilt without using triangles.This fun, easy, and fast project should be on your list of quilts. Come join the fun!

What does every Kimberbell bench pillow need? Bench Buddies! You'll choose from one of two easter themed pillows in the class, but the Kimberbell collectioni features designs for January through April. Make adorable new pillow covers for each month, and switch out the pillow form as the seasons change.

This class consists of twelve sessions on the first Wednesday of each month (except July 4th!). We'll use the Creative Grids 'Cat's Cradle' tool to make the 12 unique blocks in this fun quilt. The purpose of the club is to help you with any of the following: how to read patterns, fabric selection, pattern fitting, and how to embellish a basic garment.

What is the back story of all those quilts? Kathy Luhn, curator at Heritage Village Museum, will share stories about some of the 35 quilts in the museum collection. This special exhibit will be enhanced by dresses from the collection. Kathy does historical sewing as well as quilting.
